Macom announces supply of state-of-the-art trolleys for hot/cold meal distribution
Equipment adds benefits for patients, kitchens, staff and the establishment.
Macom announced today that it is now offering the Brazilian market, as exclusive importerthe meal delivery trolleys with French Socamel technology.
Ideal for hospitals and central kitchens that use the Cook & Serve, Cook & Chill and Cook & Freeze method (alternatives for meals at up to -17°C), the distribution trolleys receive the trays with the assembled meals, where, on the same tray, there is a hot side and a cold side, which are separated thanks to an insulating inner wall. The trolleys guarantee that the meals are preserved within the temperature requirements of the HACCP standard in accordance with current legislation.
The stations with Double-Flow technology, when attached to the trolleys, ensure that the dishes are kept warm during distribution, right down to the last tray.
Already well known in large hospital chains, Socamel technology trolleys have high energy efficiency and high thermal barrier performance, even in places with ambient temperatures of up to 30°C. The most modern models maintain the internal temperature for up to 80 minutes with the doors closed.
Robust, practical and compact, the trolleys offer benefits to the entire hospitality chain:
To the patient or residentThis allows for greater variation in the menu, while maintaining the organoleptic, visual, nutritional and flavor characteristics during distribution, causing a great experience when receiving food as fresh.
To the kitchensThe new system: guarantees optimization of service time in the distribution process and practicality in cleaning, where all parts are accessible and quickly removable without the need for tools.
To employeesThese cars are especially maneuverable, with a choice of engines, quiet and ergonomic, which optimizes manpower.
MotorizationSocamel for its cars with integrated technology (Compactserv V2 & Roomserv) now has a very modern alternative for motorizing these vehicles, helping them to get around. The motorization is suitable for ramps of 20% inclination, with a locking system, preventing accidents and reducing staff absences due to medical issues caused by physical stress.
Cars with Socamel technology also benefit the establishment's image, with their elegant and sober look, as well as their discreet movement in the corridors.
With this partnership, Macom expands its product portfolio to meet the specific needs of collective meal distribution, and there will be full support in the management/operation of commercial processes from Osmar Rodrigues - Commercial/Post-Sales Manager and Leonardo Schipper - Partner/Owner of Lucena Schipper, both of whom hold the exclusive Socamel representation in Brazil.
