This is the third year since the publication of the first Hoshizaki Group integrated report. The report is an essential tool for communicating with our stakeholders. We use the feedback received in our dialogues with investors and stakeholders to improve the disclosure of information and strengthen our future communications.
In the post-pandemic scenario, the food service industry, Hoshizaki Group's main client, is facing challenges such as energy conservation, reducing environmental impact and labor shortages, raising expectations of our role. In Japan, we have moved quickly towards products that use natural refrigerants, implementing these solutions in refrigerators, coolers and ice machines, which have been well accepted by customers.
Globally, we are even further ahead in the transition to products with natural refrigerants and in the development of solutions that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, promoting greater energy efficiency.
In 2024, the five-year management plan reaches its halfway point. Despite progress on our numerical targets, challenges such as capital efficiency persist. To ensure sustainable growth and increase our corporate value, we remain committed to evolving as a company, contributing to society and our customers.
